Where to find free WiFi in Dubrovnik
Old Town cafés and restaurants: most places along the Stradun and the side streets share their WiFi with customers. Ask for the password when you order.
Gruž port and the bus station: handy while you wait for a ferry to the islands or a bus out of town.
Lapad and Babin Kuk: hotels, beach bars and cafés along the Lapad promenade usually offer WiFi to guests and customers.
Public libraries: Dubrovnik's city library branches have free WiFi during opening hours.
Your accommodation: nearly every hotel and private apartment includes WiFi, so it is a good place to download maps and ferry tickets before heading out.
Good to know
Croatia is in the EU, so visitors with an EU mobile plan can use their data here at no extra roaming cost.
Signal inside the thick Old Town walls can be weak. Step out onto the Stradun or a square for a better connection.
Stay safe on public WiFi
Only use websites that start with https://, especially for logins.
Avoid banking or shopping on open networks, or use a VPN.
Turn off auto-join, so your phone doesn't connect to look-alike networks.
